Meet the Head

Headteacher Sasha Davies

At Kew Green, your child is at the heart of all we do. We focus on who your child is becoming whilst they fulfil their potential and achieve. We have high expectations for all our children to attain 11+ offers at their desired Senior schools, working closely with parents throughout the 11+ journey.

Whilst our educational provision enables our children to achieve to the highest academic standards, we are proud to offer an education that is truly rounded. In a world that is rapidly changing, we continue to look ahead and strive to mould young citizens and future adults who are resilient, adaptable, articulate, and able to thrive in our increasingly complex world. The instilling of strong values and essential life-skills are therefore embedded within our curriculum and school life.

Specialist teaching is timetabled for Art, Music, PE & Games, Swimming, Modern Foreign Languages and Computing. We also have a healthy competitive side when it comes to our sporting fixtures as well as an exciting trip schedule and a wide-ranging specialist club list, all of which is hugely popular with our children.

At Kew Green, we don’t lose sight of the knowledge that children need to be children. They must play, ask questions, take risks, learn from mistakes, and develop positive relationships through kindness and respect. We will provide an environment where they can safely establish their own voice, character, and self-awareness as individuals.

Above all, my staff and I will always work hard to ensure that Kew Green is a happy school, full of active learners and a strong community. I assure you that we will spare no effort to ensure your child’s years at Kew Green are both fulfilling and successful.

I would welcome the opportunity to show you around our wonderful school and I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
