Kew Green Nursery, part of Kew Green Preparatory School, opened its doors in September 2022 on the edge of Kew Green, just a short stroll from the main school.
The nursery is a spacious and light filled building with a beautiful garden area and playground.
At Kew Green Nursery, children can attend from 2 through to 4 years of age.
Gardener Schools are delighted that Kew Green Preparatory School will now provide an education for boys and girls aged 2-11 years. Nursery children will have the opportunity to transition to the Reception class at Kew Green Preparatory School, should this be your desired choice.
As the nursery is part of the Early Years at Kew Green Preparatory School, children at Kew Green Nursery have access to whole-school facilities and specialist teaching in PE & Games, Music, Languages and Art. Our nursery children also take part in specialist workshops throughout the year, delivered by teachers from the Preparatory School. These workshops include storytelling, problem-solving, teambuilding and robotics.
At Kew Green Nursery, along with a passionate and experienced staffing team, we see the nursery environment as a powerful tool in the learning process.
Both indoor and outdoor spaces have been designed to provoke a sense of wonder and excitement in our children and includes bespoke areas for performance/roleplay, cooking, sand and wet play, art and construction, a reading wall and places for quiet time. We have equipped the building with a creative studio for specialist learning and a mini-classroom to support the transition to Reception.
