Our two buildings are arranged around an attractive, leafy playground area with ample space for play or relaxing in quiet garden areas. There is also a basketball court and football pitch which can be used for multiple different activities.
Facilities include a theatre space, a spacious Music department including instrumental practice rooms, several fully equipped modern science laboratories, a large Art room on the top floor complete with outdoor terrace, a state of the art Design Technology lab, two libraries and Computing suites. The use of Information Technology has great weight and importance within the school and the Digital Curriculum is a core component of the education of Kew House students. To this end, access to computers is available throughout the building in flexible teaching spaces and smaller hubs. The use of designated IT rooms is, we believe, outdated in senior schools.
Our Sixth Form Independent Learning Centre is state-of-the-art and includes a sixth form cafe and roof terrace.
Our Parent Cafe is where parent coffee mornings are held and a comfortable spot for parents to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and use the wifi.
Our students benefit from using the highest quality sporting locations which are all on our doorstep. We have our own Sports Club for various grass sports and a Boat House for Rowing on the Thames. We have all-year-round use of professional Tennis and Netball courts and a fantastic Swimming pool just a few seconds walk from the school.
